I recently used Outta Here! Travel to make arrangements for a business/family trip to Amelia Island, Florida. When I approached Brenda with the idea, she mentioned to me that she had heard some people comment about Amelia Island, but admitted she was not too familiar with the area. I sent Brenda some details of what I was looking for in my vacation and the price point I was willing to pay.

For the past year, I have had the privilege and the awesome satisfaction of working with Brenda Fredrick and Outta Here! Travel of Oxford, Wisconsin. I became acquainted with Ms. Fredrick through her partnership with Kobussen Buses, the company which our parish has contracted services for over three years for youth outings and parish day trips.
These parish day trips have become a standard of parish life and adult faith formation for four consecutive summers. Our parishioners are already asking, "where are we going this summer?" Previously, a colleague and I did the planning and coordinating of three "Spiritual Heritage" day trips each summer. Although we enjoyed organizing these trips it required a substantial commitment on our part: time that can be such a precious commodity in the life a parish staff member with many responsibilities and duties.
Having met Ms. Fredrick, and with our complete satisfaction with Kobussen Buses, we decided that for the summer of 2010 we would ask Brenda to make the arrangements for three summer trips. I tossed out a few ideas and Outta Here! Travel took it from there. I could not be more pleased with the results. Instead of my spending hours on the computer and phone arranging and re-arranging the details, Brenda has completely and professionally tended to all aspects of our upcoming day trips. Planning a day trip to Marytown in Libertyville, Illinois and a trip to the Dead Sea Scrolls in Milwaukee, her thoroughness in planning gave our group a wonderful experience with both of these trips. Every detail, from the on-bus hospitality, to the background information about our destinations; from the lunch arrangements to the personal escort she provided, tending to all the little situations that can come up on a trip, was handled a personal touch of humor, enthusiasm, knowledge and skill.

The honeymoon was absolutely amazing! We had such a great time! I think I speak for the both of in that we were so relaxed the entire trip. We didn't have to worry about anything (except maybe which resturant we wanted to try next or what drink to order :) There really is nothing that wasn't perfect. We did spend a little extra there and ended up taking a land and sea adventure tour (totally worth it!) and spent a couple of hours at the spa. That was Erik's first massage and for being the ticklish guy that he is..he loved every minute of it! I added you as a friend on Facebook so that you take a peek at the pictures we took. I have a few more to add but will hopefully get to that sometime soon.
